Human
Defenders of the Realm
Recent discoveries have shown that humans are descended from the barbaric vrykul, half-giant warriors who live in Northrend. Early humans were essentially a segregated and tribal people for several thousand years, until the rising strength of the troll empire forced them to unite. That was how the nation of Arathor was formed, along with its capital, the city-state of Strom.
History of human
After centuries of peace, the city states of Arathor, increasingly independent, they were divided into kingdoms west, Gilneas; northwest, Alterac, Dalaran, and Lordaeron; southwest, Kul Tiras; and the southern end, Stormwind. Strom was renamed Stromgarde and remained a powerful kingdom.
However, the Horde orcs came to Azeroth and Stormwind reduced to rubble. Survivors of the city, including the young prince was Varian Wrynn, fled to Lordaeron, where the leaders of the seven kingdoms decided to rejoin as the Alliance of Lordaeron. Together, they managed to defeat the Horde, but the peace of the Alliance proved to be short-lived.
On the occasion of rising maintenance, Gilneas and Stromgarde renounced their kingdoms of the Alliance, after which came a plague that thousands of human lives claimed and turned them into undead servants of the Lich King. The Lich King Arthas Menethil manipulated, the prince of Lordaeron, to kill his own father and go to Northrend, where it merged with his master and became the next Lich King. Over the next five years, he remained in Northrend Arthas plotting his plan and expand his army.
However, before Arthas could unleash the power he had accumulated, humans and other races joined forces and won a hard victory. Members of the Horde and the Alliance launched separate campaigns in Northrend, and his attempt led to the defeat of the Lich King.
The kingdom of Stormwind has become the strongest bastion of humanity and the greater strength and multiracial Alliance. Now, the people of Stormwind is governed by the principles of honor and justice, with defending their settlements and their allies.

Home zone
Elwynn Forest
Peaceful wooded land south of Stormwind seem quieter than ever with the fall of the Defias Brotherhood, but the inhabitants of Elwynn Forest are not free of duties. There are fields to plow, to work in mines and cut wood. For despite all its grandeur, Stormwind would not last long without a steady supply of food and resources to feed its population. This exchange has been threatened with invasions Kobold, atrocious conflicos between farmers and wild animal attacks. Northshire Abbey remains dedicated to recruiting and training adventurers brave enough to help restore peace and order in the area. Likewise, the Blackrock orcs gather their forces in the nearby Redridge Mountains. With the forces of Stormwind more scattered than ever, these renegade orcs prepare a final attack on their old human enemies in Elwynn Forest.
Capital city
Stormwind
No city better demonstrates human determination than Stormwind. Destroyed during the first invasion of the Horde to Azeroth, Stormwind was painstakingly reconstructed by the Brotherhood of bricklayers after the Second War. Parts of the city were devastated when Deathwing, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Black brutally attacked Stormwind City. Fortunately, there are parts of the city that were not affected and today present a superb aspect, thanks to the hard work of its inhabitants. From the magnificent Cathedral of Light, significant spiritual center, to the inspiring Valley of Heroes, which commemorates the sacrifices of Stormwind's loyal champions, the city represents the courageous heart of humanity.
Leader
Varian Wrynn
Varian's life has been marked by tragedy and conflict. The murder of his father by the assassin Garona Halforcen is a great weight for him and the accidental death of his wife, Tiffin, during a riot. The king has returned to his throne after his abduction by the Defias Brotherhood and the black dragon Onyxia, who disguised herself as Lady Prestor Katrana. Deprived of his memory and enslaved by a trainer of gladiators Horde in Kalimdor, Varian earned his freedom by force, and the nickname "Lo'Gosh" or "ghost wolf" in the battle was won. With the help of his comrades, he managed to regain his true identity and finally defeat Prestor. Known for his tenacity and iron will, King Varian Wrynn is committed to protecting the interests of the Alliance and the education of his son, Anduin, to succeed him in the future.
